It is a 'bug' that lets people reach size 11 under some circumstances. I don't know if it gives them any benefits or not though.

Why does it happen? Because we're awesome. But yeah, it's a glitch like Kia said, though I don't know if it can go up to 12.

Nope, just up to 11. And I never fixed it, because I don't regard it as having any impact -- other than annoying people who are stuck at size 10.

can post this question in the same topic as this.

I have my house extended to 10, but i can only give 4 keys to others. Is 5 the maximum ammount of keys i can give, or how do I invite more people there?

You could have bought more keys, or so I believe. You already had nine keys, as it turns out. Unfortunately, they had all been given away, and due to characters expiring (or otherwise being deleted), four of those had disappeared along with those characters.

I have restored your missing four keys.

About this level 11 estate thing:

Couldn't you just, you know, have it go up to 10, and make ten better?

Old topic I know, but I think I figured out exactly how the "bug" works between a Lv. 10 estate and a Lv. 11...

I got my first house got to Lv. 10. I invested some, but not all of the gold and gems to raise it to Lv. 11. Afterward, and here's the key, I logged off. The next time I logged back on, the option to expand was gone. Therefore, it seems that the first logout you have of a Lv. 10 house "locks" it in that state.

I sold my home and recouped what I could. Then, I rebuilt my home to Lv 1 and bought all 15 extra keys available while still at that level (sidenote: do this when your estate is at Lv. 1 for the maximum amount of keys, otherwise each level added to your estate detracts an available key that can be purchased). After that was done, I rebuilt my house from Lv. 1 to Lv, 11 all at once with the resources I had saved. Problem solved. :)

This could theoretically be done if you were gradually building the estate as well. The key would be to get from Lv. 9 to Lv. 11 in one session without logging out. I just did my building in one fell swoop. Hope that helps!

That does help, and there is a tiny part of me that wants to do this, just so that Alex can properly express his wealth, but hey *shrug* nobody wants a key to my house anyway.
